The Italian Society for Evolutionary Biology (SIBE-ISEB) promotes the participation of junior scientists with two awards consisting of a €150 monetary prize as well as an official award certificate, for the best student poster and best student oral presentation selected by the Scientific Committee.

Students at all levels (both undergraduate and graduate) are eligible to apply. To participate to the competition, authors should fill the dedicated field during abstract submission, and have regularly paid the SIBE-ISEB membership fees for 2023.

Frontiers is supporting the participation to the Congress of early career researchers with three €150 monetary prizes either for best talks (15 or 7 minute) or for posters (with 3 minutes presentation) by a junior scientist, selected by the Scientific Committee. Students and postdoctoral scientists within 5 years of having completed their PhD are eligible to apply.

Physalia supports the training of junior scientists offering a free course for the best presentation (either a talk or a poster) by a PhD student, selected by the Scientific Committee.

To participate in the competition, presenting authors should be enrolled in a PhD program. People applying for a Physalia free course can also apply for other prizes.
